Northgate Park-and-Ride on 5th Ave NE Closes May 30

On Saturday, May 30, the Northgate P&R on 5th Ave NE will be permanently closed and converted into a city park. Survey says: Pinehurst is an up and coming neighborhood

Below are summary results of the Pinehurst Survey. There were 65 responses and the comments are very constructive with many good ideas that are realistic to implement. My favorite part is that 60% of those who responded believe that Pinehurst is either “an up an coming neighborhood” or “the best neighborhood in Seattle.

Good news for Jackson Park Trail!

Friends of Jackson Park Trail received notice today that we were awarded a $15,000 Small and Simple Neighborhood Matching Fund grant to design the trail!
