From Seattle Public Utilities: No Garbage, Food and Yard Waste or Recycling Collections for Thanksgiving Day

No garbage, food and yard waste or recycling collections are scheduled in Seattle on Thursday, November 26, 2009. Collections scheduled for Thursday will occur on Friday, and Friday collections will occur on Saturday due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Please be sure to have your containers out by 7 a.m. to ensure collection.

Casey MacNerthney at SeattlePI.com has an article with statistics about car prowls at Northgate, especially on the Friday after Thanksgiving. They were pretty surprising to me. Use caution this week and prevent becoming a victim.

St. Catherine Holiday Bazaar – This weekend!
