On Tue. Aug. 7 from 6 pm until approx. 9 pm the Neighborhood Block Watch area of 20th Ave NE near NE 120th (includes other streets and neighbors nearby) will be holding their Seattle Night Out block party and potluck on 20th Ave NE on the corner of NE 120th and 20th NE, just south of the traffic circle. The street will be blocked off to through traffic and all neighbors are welcome to visit. Please bring potluck food and your own utensils. Paper plates and napkins will be supplied.
Please mention this to other neighbors who might not be on our email list, the more the merrier!

And yet another potluck is just a bit further north on 8th Ave NE at NE 125th Street. Follow the BBQ smoke! We’ll have 8th Ave blocked to through traffic up to NE 127th. 6pm – 11pm Tuesday, Aug 7.
Same date and time we are having one on 9th between 117th and 120th. We will have the grill and some tables. Please bring something for you to grill and a side to share. Great time to get to know your neighbors. Hope to see any neighbors there.
@Geoff King: We live a little south of there, just on the other side of the park, but would love to join a celebration. Are you open to having folks a little outside the “block”? I make a mean Pasta Salad.
I just wanted to comment about how much I appreciate those of you who are hosting these events. I don’t know if I’ll have a chance to get out tonight, but it’s wonderful to know how many of my neighbors care enough about the community to do this. I hope that I can meet more of you sometime in the near future, even if it isn’t tonight.
