Yes! This sounds like an excellent plan. Who does the cooking, and is there any way for people to volunteer?

I suggest you call the phone number on the post for that information. 🙂 Also, the website lists what organization sponsors each site. I’ve updated the post to explain this. Contact info for each organization is on the website.

Nathan Hale High School (M-F, 12:00-1:30 pm, June 23 to August 29) is another location in our area that might appeal to older kids.

  • In Lake City, Hunger Intervention Program is the sponsor that provides the meals. There are four sites in the area:

    – Lake City Community Center (12531 28th Ave NE)
    – Nathan Hale High School (10750 30th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125)
    – Lake City Court (12536 33rd Ave NE — only from 12:00 – 1:00)
    – Cedarvale Village (11050 8th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125)

Lunches are from 12:00-1:30, and a free snack is served from 3:00-3:30 at the Lake City Community Center and Lake City Court 🙂

Please share this information with as many people as possible!
