We’re looking for volunteers for our summer festival, Pinehurstfest!
It’s Saturday, July 15th from 2-5 pm.

Feel free to sign up for multiple slots as we can use all the help we can get. This event doesn’t happen without dedicated neighbors!
Beyond what’s listed on the page above we can also use help putting up posters (and removing them afterwards) or going door-to-door to your neighbors to make sure they know about the event. This can be any time from now until the event as your schedule permits though obviously early notice is better for people. We’ve got posters and smaller handouts we can print if you’re interested in helping there. You can email me phillip@pinehurstseattle.org
We are also always looking for other activities at the event if you’re interested in organizing anything else. We’ve had a cake walk, raffle, and party/lawn games in the past. But we would need somebody to step up and organize it as we just don’t have the resources this year. But if you’ve got any ideas we’re certainly willing to support you.

Going going door-to-door with info for my neighbors is my favorite part and I’d love to get as many people as possible doing it.
I’m constantly meeting people who don’t know about Pinehurstfest, the Pinehurst Community Council, the Pinehurst Seattle page, the Buy Nothing groups, and all the other great community groups and organizations in the area.
It’s not nearly as intimidating as it seems. You’re not soliciting, you’re not talking politics. You’re just introducing yourself as a neighbor and letting people know about things in the neighborhood.
