The City’s Department of Planning and Development is holding a public meeting to present options for future development and street improvements around the Northgate Light Rail station. The meeting is on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m., at the Aljoya Senior Apartments at Thornton Place, 450 NE 100th Street. Off-street parking available at [...] September 2012 is a long time away, but Metro is engaging the public regarding service changes which will coincide with the start of the Aurora and Ballard “Rapid Ride” bus lines. The relevant changes to our neighborhood are: The 18 will now longer serve Downtown to Ballard, but will instead run between Fremont, Ballard, Crown [...] Join the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) at an upcoming open house to learn about the Transit Master Plan (TMP), share your feedback, and see where we’re going from here. Sound Transit is holding public meetings this month about the scoping for mass transit between Northgate (Transit Center) and Lynnwood (196th St SW).
