Pinehurst Safeway discussion at this morning’s Seattle City Council Planning Land Use and Neighborhoods (PLUNC) meeting. The Property Use and Development Agreement (PUDA) is still being drafted, but PLUNC just voted to recommend the rezone for a full Council vote in October. Vote may occur at the October 12th City Council meeting. As [...] I just spoke with Michael Jenkins at Seattle City Council Central Staff regarding the status of the Pinehurst Safeway rezone discussions. I had expected to see it on the City Council Planning Land Use and Neighborhoods (PLUNC) agenda for this Wednesday, September 23rd. Unfortunately, there are some delays in the preparation of the ordinance for [...] Today’s Seattle City Council Planning, Land Use and Neighborhoods Committee (PLUNC) discussion of the Pinehurst Safeway rezone went well. The committee asked Michael Jenkins to prepare a Property Use and Development Agreement (PUDA) for discussion and possible vote at the September 23, 2009 PLUNC meeting. If all goes well, full Council could vote on the [...] Legislation for the rezone of the Pinehurst Safeway site will be introduced by the City Council Planning, Land Use and Neighborhoods Committee this Wednesday, September 9th. More details soon. The Seattle Hearing Examiner issued a recommendation that Seattle City Council approve the Pinehurst Safeway rezone application. Read the ruling here.
