The Friends of Thornton Creek Park #1 got a grant a while back. April 13th they held the first of their public meetings to plan restoration of part of the Thornton Creek Park near Jackson Golf Course. See the report here. The second Public Meeting will be Tuesday May 31, 2011, 6:30PM in the St Matthew Parish [...] Come and learn what Arthur Lee Jacobson has to say about plants and shrubs in our Thornton Creek Watershed at the next Thornton Creek Alliance meeting.
