Walk Bike Ride: Community Meetings

June 21st, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Northgate Community Center. There are four upcoming Walk Bike Ride community meetings including one in our neighborhood. This will be a good time to share the priorities for our neighborhood. For example, would more sidewalks make it easier to get to the bus? It might be a good time to mention streetcars too.

Walk Bike Ride is now coming to a neighborhood close to you, and we’d love it if you can join us for one of these June meetings.

These meetings seek to answer the question, “what needs to change in your neighborhood to in order to make walking, biking, and riding transit easy?”

Is it a more frequent bus route? More sidewalks? More transit? More bike lanes? Attendees will receive information on what types of projects are possible, and fill out a “ballot” that will help the city prioritize these types of transportation projects. Although these are geographically based, feel free to attend whichever best fits your schedule.
