*Pinehurst Residential Burglary Report: November 2010

We’ve had another good month!  Please remember to report burglaries to the police so they have a good idea of what’s happening in our neighborhood.

If you have any questions on crime prevention, or if you would like to form a block watch, please contact Diane Horswill (diane.horswill@seattle.gov or 206-684-7711) at the North Precinct.

11/08 1000blk NE 125th  the victim came home to find her back door had been kicked in, jewelry and keys to her home and car were stolen.

11/27  12000blk 8th NE  the victim is in the process of moving and has been out of the house for several weeks, when he returned today he found his television had been stolen, there was no sign of forced entry.

11/29  12500blk 3rd Ave NE  the victim left the house in the morning, a few hours later a relative came by and saw that the victims television was lying on the kitchen floor, he contacted the victim who came home and found a window screen removed, the window was open and undamaged so it may have been left unlocked, a laptop and an I-pod had been stolen, the TV was left behind because the screen had been broken when the suspect was removing it from its wall mounting, the victims large dog was in the house during the burglary.

I let my cats out around 2:30am and there was a man at our mailboxes. Im not sure if he saw me but then he got right in his car and drove away. It was creepy. I have NOOO idea what he was doing. His car was a piece of junk.
