  • Wow! Thanks, Rose, for posting this review. I’m in BARK! Espresso now, using the Wi-Fi, and I LOVE IT.

Not only is it walking distance from my house, but:

    >The coffee is rich, dark, and caramelly–some of the best I’ve ever had–and that’s the DECAF!
Friendly and extremely well-trained baristas use a special infusion method to draw out the full flavor of the Caffe’ Vita.

    >The goodies (some baked on-site; others from a local bakery) are delicious, with vegan and full-naughty options.

    >Breakfast and lunch 1. are freshly made, creative, well-priced (around $4-6), and 2. sound delicious.
Today’s options include breafast sandwiches, with veggies, herbs, and/or cheese, some on yummy scones; burritoes with brown rice and veggies, among other things; and mac and cheese made with cheddar and ricotta).

    >The space is open, bright, and comfortable, with hardwood floors, pleasant lighting, and soothing celery-green walls with b&w photos of (what else?) dogs.

    >If you bring your dog(s), you have a separate dog room with chairs, tables, and couches. But you can go pet-free in the main cafe.

    >It has tables, outlets, and a comfy purple couch with magazines.

    I’ve found my new office!

Right next door to Great Dog Daycare, near Northgate Way and Pinehurst Way.

    Near QFC and behind TJ Maxx/Costume Display, at 11335 Roosevelt Way NE 98125. (206) 364-0185. http://WWW.BARKESPRESSO.COM. bark@gogreatdog.com.
