Here’s a photo of my rescue dog, Charlie, after I taught him how to read in a class called “SmartyDog” offered by Great Dog Daycare (http://gogreatdog.com/).
I’m a librarian, so I think reading is very important. Of course, it turns out that his FAVORITE book is about kittens!!!
Charlie is a smartydog, but I’m not a very motivated trainer, so we mostly cuddle on the couch and go for walks in the neighborhood.

I always knew Charlie was a special boy, but reading…..now that’s really something. Only a librarian for a “mom” could bring out that talent in a dog.
