Plan for a big weekend to start August. Add the 63rd annual Lake City Salmon Bake to your Pinehurstfest and Seafair Weekend plans.
Enjoy an alder-smoked salmon dinner on Friday August 3rd or Saturday August 4th from noon – 7 p.m. at the Lake City Community Center, 12531 – 28th Ave. NE, just north of the Lake City Library. Dinners ($9) include baked beans, potato salad, garlic bread, beverage and ice cream. Discounted senior/youth meals, fish only, and hot dog plates are also available.
For added attraction, a free interactive Model Trains Exhibit for youth runs on-site concurrently. The Lake City Lions rummage sale will be also be at the Community Center from noon – 6 p.m. Lake City’s street fair and parade are held nearby on Saturday.
Proceeds benefit Lake City Community Center of Seattle. The non-profit’s board of directors, Lake City Lions and community volunteers staff the event.
