Volunteer to Usher at Seattle Musical Theatre

9to5bannerCome join Seattle Musical Theatre as a Front of House volunteer for its next show 9 to 5: Pushed to the boiling point by their boss, three over-worked, under-appreciated female co-workers conspire to take control of their company and learn there is nothing they can’t do in this hilarious story of love and revenge in the Rolodex era. Based on the 1979 hit movie of the same name, Dolly Parton’s score, including such hits as “Backwoods Barbie” and the ever-classic “9 to 5” will have you tapping your feet and singing all the way home.

Teens 16 and older may volunteer unaccompanied.  SMT asks those 12-15 to be accompanied by an adult.  Volunteers are asked to arrive an hour and 15 minutes before the show to receive assignments (Will Call, ushers/ticket-takers, concessions, etc.) and stay 10-15 minutes after to help collect programs for recycling and check the auditorium for trash.  Total time commitment is approximately 3.5 hours, and in thanks for your assistance you see the performance and get a soda or water from concessions for free.  Free parking is available on the street or next door at the Magnuson Park Community Center.
The specific dates SMT still needs help are:
Feb. 26     6:15-9:45 p.m.
Feb. 27     6:15-9:45 p.m.
Mar. 4      6:15-9:45 p.m.
Mar. 5      6:15-9:45 p.m.
Mar. 10    6:15-9:45 p.m.
It also needs people with MAST licenses to serve at the wine bar.  The dates still open are:
