Classesandworkshops.com (also called 123classes.com) is an independent educational program offering fun, affordable noncredit classes in the arts. It currently offers over sixty classes a quarter, in a wide range of subject areas. Each teacher is independent and designs his or her own classes.
All classes currently meet in Seattle. Some meet in the University of Washington campus; others off campus in the University District; others in Lake City; others in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood.
Current class offerings range from drawing and painting to acting, filmmaking, writing, collage, calligraphy, WordPress, Photoshop, and more.
Though they’re aimed at adults, some classes also work for younger students. If a student is under 18, and is interested in a course, contact them before enrolling to make sure the class is a good match for a younger student’s needs.
