SDOT Annual Safe Routes to School Kick-Off on August 26

Kids on bikes! Swag! Healthy snacks! Storytime!

Lake City Greenways is thrilled to announce SDOT’s Annual Safe Routes to School Kick-Off event will be held at our very own Cedar Park Playground.

All kids are welcomes!

We also need YOUR help to assist kids to learn bicycling skills for fun and safe riding – a phenomenally rewarding time will be had by all!

What: Bike Rodeo clinic to teach children the skills and precautions to ride a bicycle safely.
Who: Everyone is invited. Bring your kids and bikes while you volunteer!
Where: Cedar Park Playground, 3737 NE 135th St, Seattle, WA 98125
When: Friday, August 26th, 1 to 5 PM

Come for the whole day or choose a shift.

• Volunteer Shift #1 – 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
• Volunteer Shift #2 – 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm

No previous Bike Rodeo experience is required. We will provide a brief training at the start of your shift.
