Come one, come all to the first ever Lake City Pumpkin Palooza hosted at Kaffeeklatsch!
Over the past year many people in our neighborhood have donated time and money to support children though the Hunger Intervention Program; this event is for YOU! Thank you so much for all the hard work and compassion that we know you will continue to put into our community.There will be three different pumpkin decorating contests, healthy snacks, hot apple cider, and free raffle drawings! This is a great way to meet your neighbors, support local businesses & organizations, explore your creativity and help “SCARE HUNGER AWAY!”

WHEN: October 23, 2016 @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
WHERE: Kaffeeklatsch, 12513 Lake City Way NE
Paint it, carve it, tack it; make it your OWN! There will be craft supplies and carving tools provided by Lake City Future First to decorate and carve your pumpkin. This event is open to people of all ages and will have a final judging at 5pm. Prizes vary depending on which level you qualify to compete in:
- Ages 12 & under: Gift Bag Filled With Tricks & Treats
- Teens 13-18: Free Watershed Pizza & 2 Movie Tickets
- 19 & up: Selection of Gift Cards from Elliott Bay Brewery, Mojito, Kaffeeklatsch & a Trophy for 1st place!
Snacks & Free Raffle Prizes!
The Hunger Intervention Program (HIP) and the Seattle Farmers Market have teamed together to provide spooky snacks for this community outing. HIP has been increasing food security for underserved populations in North King County through nutritious meals, educational programs, and advocacy since 1998. Kaffeeklatsch will be raising money for this wonderful program all through October; make a donation and proudly display your support on our HIP tree! Together we will be able to help HIP scare hunger away!
