Pinehurst Playfield Shelterhouse

Lorna Mrachek worked with the community and Seattle Parks and Recreation on a redesign of the Pinehurst Playfield Shelterhouse. This project was completed March 2011.

Ron B. Reed Architects completed the plans gratis for this project. Thank you!

A big thanks goes to Lorna for getting this facility its much-needed upgrades, and thanks, too, to Garth Ferber, who helped with the project bookkeeping.

Here are some factoids about the remodel project.

Meadowbrook Community Center will schedule a summer teen program. Pinehurst Community Council has an agreement to use the Shelterhouse gratis for quarterly PCC meetings. For other uses, call Meadowbrook CC for rental information.
