Conditions: The City of Seattle Hearing Examiner is conducting a public hearing on the recommendation of the Director of the Department of Planning and Development(DPD) to contract rezone property from SF7200 to NC3-40.

The Director’s recommendation is that the rezone be Conditionally Approved. Conditions include: Please see report in project file.

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION
The Director of DPD has determined that the proposal will not have a significant adverse environmental impact, and has issued a Declaration of Non-Significance (no environmental impact statement required).

ADDITIONAL APPROVALS
Conditionally Grant – Design Review – Conditions have been placed on this project.

Copies of the Director’s Report and Recommendation and the rezone application materials are available at the DPD Public Resource Center, 700 Fifth Avenue, Suite 2000 of the Seattle Municipal Tower, (206) 684-8467. The Public Resource Center is open 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. (A copy and postage fee will be charged.) A copy of the decision and recommendation is also available on line by going to http://web1.seattle.gov/dpd/luib/NoticeSearch.aspx, entering the Project number and pushing the “Search” button. PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing to take public comment on the Director’s recommendation and to establish the record for this application will be held on: June 23, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the Office of the Hearing Examiner (address below). The Office of the Hearing Examiner provides barrier free access.

Written comments will be accepted until the close of the hearing scheduled for June 23, 2009. Comments should be sent to:

HOW TO APPEAL THE ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION AND DIRECTORS DECISION ON DESIGN REVIEW
Appeals of the decision to issue a Declaration of Non-Significance must be received by the Hearing Examiner at the address shown above no later than 5:00 p.m. June 15, 2009. Appeals must be accompanied by $50.00 filing fee in a check payable to the City of Seattle. Any appeal of the decision will be heard at the public hearing on June 23, 2009.
