Sorry for the short notice but I just found out about this event this Saturday. It’s a walking tour at 10am, starting at Thornton Creek Plaza. More details are here and they ask that you RSVP.
This Saturday, join Futurewise, FeetFirst, and Cascade Bicycle Club for a walking tour and discussion.
We’ll start with a presentation on prinicples of transit-oriented communities. Then we’ll tour the neighborhood on foot hear about particular design and planning issues, including: infill, parking, ped/bike design, and green infrastructure.
Staff from the Seattle DPD, King County Metro, Sound Transit, and PSRC will be on hand to help answer questions.
