Gaard Development is currently under contract to purchase the property located at 11057 8th Ave NE. It intends to support the Northaven Senior Living vision of developing a multi-generational campus on which residents will co-mingle in common spaces, including green space, and is seeking an early childhood education provider for the commercial first floor.
Above the commercial space will be six stories of 80–90 residential apartments in a mix of Studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartments. Units will serve individuals and families with incomes between 50–100% of Area Median Income (AMI), which is approximately $35,000–$85,000 in household income.
As part of its community outreach, it will be holding a community meeting at the Northgate Community Center on July 30 at 5:30 pm. Please attend if you’d like to learn more about what is coming to the neighborhood.
