THANK YOU so much for organizing it. It really means alot for all of us that we had our very first summer social in Pinehurst.

I think it’s a good idea to ask for feedback from attendants of summer social this year.

    Here is my feedback:

There were a couple of things I noticed that can be improved next year…

-music was too loud that we can’t talk each other very well… And I would suggest to pick music that is popular to any age.

-the layout of benders/booths can be a little more organized, and look a little more festive. For outside, we could use more tents to have people/benders hang out comfortably regardless the weather (it was too bad it rained!)

-it would be nice to have a little more snacky foods/drinks besides ice candies (that was nice!, but it was hard to find them).

    thanks,

  • Renee

    Absolutely. All good points.

We hope to have more diversity in music next year. Anyone who is interested in playing or who knows of a band that might be interested, let us know.

We are planning to reserve tents for next year which will allow us to have the tables outside as we had planned. Unfortunately, we could not afford tents this year but have found a partner who can help us for the future.

The food piece all depends on donations. We are forming a committee to plan next year’s event. Please join us. It would be great to have more perspectives and more help in making the event happen.
