Local Area Vandalism

A neighbor on NE 25th St. has had numerous incidents of vandalism to his truck since October.  He is doing all the right things, so I’d like to remind everyone of what to do. 

• Keep a log of recurring crimes. Being able to tell the police that a crime has occured numerous times helps them determine the criticality of your call.
• Trade contact information with your neighbors and call them when you see something suspicious or to ask them if they saw anything. 
• Call the police each time a crime occurs.  The more crimes we report, the more we get on the police’s radar, which might induce them to patrol our area more often.
