There is strong interest in a group or network for young families in Pinehurst. While I personally do not have enough time to organize this, I am more than happy to help folks get started and to invite you to post to the blog?
Many of the young families have two working parents and are looking for a meeting time in the evening or on a weekend. And, they are looking for an ongoing on-line location (maybe this blog) where they can go to connect with people and share information.
Perhaps you and Carine could organize an event in and evening or on a weekend and publicize it through the blog.
Just as a fyi — I’m not completely sure how the meeting room policy works — but I’m sure the library would be happy to help you determine if a neighborhood play group would be in the scope of what the room can be used for (I’ll bet it is!)
