On Saturday, May 30, the Northgate P&R on 5th Ave NE will be permanently closed and converted into a city park. Also, parking for bus riders in the Northgate North (Target) parking garage, just south of the Northgate P&R, will no longer be available. Alternative parking is available at the following locations:
* Thornton Place Parking Garage: 350 spaces
3rd Ave NE & NE 103rd St
* Northgate Park-and-Pool: 417 spaces
3rd Ave NE & NE 103rd St
* North Seattle P&R: 143 spaces
1st Ave NE & NE 100th St
* Northgate Transit Center: 296 spaces
10200 1st Ave NE
* Northgate Mall Parking Garage: 280 spaces
1st Ave NE & NE 103rd St
Route 66 to downtown Seattle and Route 67 to the U-District will begin and end at the Northgate Transit Center and will no longer serve bus stops on 5th Ave NE north of NE 100th St.
