Monday night, the family said, “Got a call from I guy we saw at a coffee shop this morning- he found him on the Burke Gilman at 95th (a place we were at twice today already!!). Dog couldn’t believe it when he saw us.

This is a good opportunity to remind everyone to microchip their pets – especially the “Oh He Would Never Run Off” pets. Statistically, one out of three pets in the US go missing at some point, and a microchip vastly increases their chance of being returned to their anxious family. Also remember to update their registration when you move; we ended up with our little dog because although she was chipped there were no listed details in the database – so she ended up in a shelter, up for adoption.
