Mayor McGinn is holding five Youth & Families Initiative workshops throughout the city to discuss “what we want for our kids and how best to create a healthy, positive and equitable environment for all families in our city.” There is going to be one in our general neighborhood this Monday. There is an avant-jazz music festival the next couple weekends which includes Sunship (previously mentioned here) on Friday, January 22nd.
