We posted some photos of Pinehurstfest on the Pinehurst Seattle Facebook page. Here I just want to thank some participants. First, thanks to these organizations who set up booths this year in spite of the very hot sunny weather (there were some no-shows, which we totally understand): - Bats Northwest - Seattle Audubon Society [...] Pinehurstfest is this Saturday, August 4th from 2-5pm! We’ve already linked to the flier earlier but there are also lots of ways to help make it a success! Spread the word around the neighborhood! Most of your neighbors don’t read the blog or Facebook so make sure they hear about Pinehurstfest! Volunteer! We’ll need [...] The second of three bands, 420 Flight, featuring Jack Cook & fellow musicians from Pinehurst Playground, tie dye, Merlin falcons [...] We’d like to thank once again the local businesses who donated items for our Pinehurstfest raffle, and to encourage you to shop local: - Seattle Musical Theatre, Warren G. Magnuson Park - Great Dog Shoppe, 11333 Roosevelt Way NE - Screenprint Northwest, 11514 15th Ave NE - Treehouse Coffee Co., 12303 15th Ave NE - [...] Saturday, July 16, 2–5 pm Pinehurst Playfield (12029 14th Avenue) There will be great music, a bouncy toy, lawn games, lots of local groups, raffles, refreshments, and more! 2:00pm – Welcome and Pinehurst Shelterhouse dedication and opening ceremony 2:10-3:00 PM – Sidewinder (jazz and funk) featuring Ryan Berg & other Pinehurst musicians 3:10-4:00 PM – [...] I’ll keep this short as I’m getting married Sunday (only some last minute planning still left) but I wanted to make sure to send out another reminder on Pinehurstfest. It’s on Saturday July 16th from 2-5pm. First, be sure to spread the word to all your neighbors! Second, money donations are still being accepted by [...] One of the community organizations that will have a table at Pinehurstfest is North Helpline. It is a local organization that operates a food bank in Lake City. Recently it announced that donations were down, especially for protein foods. We’ll have a donation barrel at Pinehurstfest, so please consider making a donation of non-perishable foods, [...] Remember Pinehurstfest is coming up July 16th! We’ll have some cool Pinehurst T-Shirts for sale as a Pinehurst Community Council fund raiser, so come on by and pick one up, listen to the great music, enjoy refreshments, win door prizes, and most important, meet your neighbors!
