North District Council & 115th Sidewalk

The North District Council met last night to vote for our three recommendations to pass along to the city for the Bridging the Gap Large Projects Fund.  There were multiple rounds of voting and while Pinehurst’s project started out really strong it unfortunately missed the top three by a tie-breaker vote.

Sidewalks (and the need for funding)

This coming Wednesday, December 2nd, North District Council will be hearing sidewalk proposals from neighbors in Cedar Park, Jackson Park, Lake City, Maple Leaf, Meadowbrook, Olympic Hills, Pinehurst and Victory Heights. There are over 20 projects that neighbors have submitted for funding consideration. Each neighborhood has picked their top one to three projects. [...]

Nov. 19th Sidewalk Meeting (NE 115th St)

We will be having a meeting on November 19th to discuss the process for the Bridging the Gap Large Project Fund. Specifically, we’ll be focusing on the proposal for a new sidewalk along NE 115th St.
